Esthetician Wax Specialist & Psychologist born in Santa Catarina, Brazil later residing in Sao Paulo/SP, Brazil from 1981-2004. She was looking for a more efficient technique for hair removal and discovered epilation with hard wax during that time. She practiced this technique on herself as well as her friends. She then specialized in esthetics, studying at SENAC School and later working at Pieta Clinica Medica as a wax specialist in Sao Paulo. In Atlanta, she graduated from ISSN (International School of Skin & Nails) and opened her own business.
Odeta, originally from Paraná, Brazil, brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to her role as an Esthetician Wax Specialist. After graduating from the renowned Senac School in 2009, she embarked on her professional journey, honing her expertise in Brazilian waxing techniques and skincare. Since joining Tropical Brazilian Wax in 2014, Odeta has built a loyal clientele who appreciate her meticulous attention to detail, gentle touch, and personalized care. With over a decade of experience, she is known for creating a comfortable and welcoming environment, making each waxing session as smooth and painless as possible.
I have been wanting to get my body waxed for some time now, but I was so very nervous of the unknown. Add to that, being worried about how I would be treated as a plus size woman, and uncomfortable about someone seeing my body in that manner as well. My hair stylist had suggest Tropical Brazilian Wax to me, and Yascara was so wonderful, lovely, and patient with me. I called and spoke with her directly, since I wasn't sure what I needed done and she so very patiently answered all of my questions and made me feel so comfortable. She said she would take care of me and she did! Upon meeting her when I arrived for my 1st ever waxing appointment, she gave me a hug to calm my nerves and was so wonderful to me! She told me she would explain everything she was doing and we would go slow to make sure I was comfortable and could handle it. She did and I didn't feel awkward or embarrassed with her at all. Yascara is the BEST! It was so much better than I ever thought it would be and it really didn't hurt at all to me. I think I will be hanging up my razor and may never shave again thanks to Yascara and Tropical Brazilian Wax! I think I will be letting them wax me instead from now on, so I highly recommend them for all your body waxing needs!
I am so glad I found this little gem! The service is excellent. It was my first time getting a wax, and I was a ball of nerves, but Odete was MAGNIFICENT! She made me feel at ease and explained every detail of what she was doing. I've now been there twice, and this will be my go-to place! I encourage you to give them a try.
I've been a customer for well over 8 years. I use to see Antonia and was extremely nervous to try someone new, but Odete is amazingly sweet and great at her profession!! Today she went above and beyond. Due to unforeseen circumstances my two girls had to accompany me to my appointment. I'm a nursing mother and my baby woke up hungry. I told Odete not to worry about the Brazilian wax but instead to focus on my eyebrows. Odete said absolutely not we'll make the adjustments and get the job done. She adjusted her table and made it comfortable for the baby and I nursing needs. She literally didn't have to and could've very well agreed with me and sent us on our way. Odete was able to take care of ALL my pampering needs! I truly appreciate a person with such compassion and patience. Odete you are a true gem. Thank you❤️
